SAN DIEGO – May 1, 2019 – Abington Emerson Investments, LLC launched a Qualified Opportunity Zone Fund, AEI North Park OZ Fund LLC, that will invest in a multi-family development project in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego.
The project presents an increasingly rare urban infill opportunity to acquire and develop three contiguous parcels in the heart of one of San Diego’s most popular neighborhoods, a portion of which has been designated as an Opportunity Zone. The parcels are zoned for high-density development and allow for a 48 unit apartment building. The area boasts a “90” walk score with convenient access to all of North Park’s entertainment, restaurants, night life, parks and more.
The Fund is currently accepting investors and intends to close the acquisition of the property in the later part of May.
