This is the third year that Opportunity Zone Magazine has recognized the industry's most powerful and influential Opportunity Zone professionals nationwide, and for the second year, the magazine has published the best of the best in a ranked Top 25 OZ Influencers category to showcase those who stand out among their peers.
Candidates were evaluated based on their vision, influence and industry experience, and the magazine has said that it hopes the influencers will serve as a resource for industry participants seeking counsel or professional services. Opportunity Zone Magazine announced the winners in five categories: attorneys, fund managers/developers, tax specialists, policy influencers and professionals in specialized fields. Joshua Perttula and Abington Emerson were recognized in Fund Manager/Developer category. Opportunity Zones promote long-term investments through the placement of highly tax advantaged capital gains. Abington Emerson Investments has launched and manages 10 OZ Funds to date.
